Setting Up Blogger For Custom Domains On GoDaddy
Setting up blogger for custom domains on Godaddy is very easy. Just follow the simple tutorial on how to set up your blogger with godaddy as your host!
Godaddy:
> Go to Godaddy.com
> Manage My Domains
Under Add New ARecord, there is @ and IP address. You have to delete it. But before that, make sure you copy the IP address just in case you need it again. That IP address belongs to Godaddy.com park page. So when you click http://yourdomain.com, it will go to godaddy.com park page.
So inorder for your domain name to work, here’s what you should do:
1. Click on Total DNS Control and MX Records
2. Under CNAMES, add new CNAMES records
3. Then enter the following:
Host: www
Points To: ghs.google.com
Blogger:
Go to your Blogger account > Settings > Publishing. In the text field, enter www.yourdomain.com
Allow 24-48 hours to take effect. Hope this helps!
